URGENT CALLOUT !

25 purebred Jack Russell Terriers have been seized by animal welfare inspectors in Brisbane. They are all in need of loving families who can permanently adopt, or temporarily foster them. They have all passed their behavioral tests, in fact some of them are so sweet and gentle they would be suitable for homes with children or elderly citizens. These dogs really do deserve a second chance! If you can offer a loving and safe home for one of these little guys, even if only for a short period of time, please call Lindy on 0429492978 or (07) 55000168 or email Lindy@jacklands.com

"Ginger"
When sweet "Ginger" was first transported to the RSPCA she was so afraid she would not come out from her hiding place under the bed (see photo #11 above). We decided to bring her home with us for fostering and she has come so far so quickly she is now ready for a permanent new home. Ginger has the sweetest nature, the body of a super model, and a newly found love of all the good things in life. She enjoys her grooming and baths, eats almost anything you put in front of her, and resembles a little wombat. That little tail never stops wagging. She is in good health, has an easy to care for coat, she is crate trained and lead trained. Gin is still learning what the concept of house-training is about, but she is such a bright little button she is picking things up very fast. Ginger would make an ideal pet for an older couple or a quiet household. She loves to explore the garden so will require a property with good fences and a loving family willing to walk her each day. Ginger has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, worm and heartworm tested. Please contact Lindy (Gold Coast) on (07) 55000168.
"Venus"
Venus was quite a sorry sight when she first arrived at the RSPCA. She was trembling, underweight, terrified of people, had matted hair that was pinching her skin, and her legs were stained orange. Poor little Venus didn't know much about life except being a breeding machine. We brought Venus home with us to help build her confidence and within 24 hours the sparkle began to return to her eyes. I trimmed her coat and told her what a pretty girl she was and she responded immediately with such pride. She turned the corner from that moment on and her transformation has been nothing short of dramatic. Venus is now a bright, happy little miss, eating up a storm, putting on weight, and spending her days playing with her toys and new friends. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed. She is now lead trained and crate trained. Venus would be a perfect pet for a quiet but energetic family who will have the time to play with her every day and take her on a daily walk on her lead. Update : Venus has now been adopted by Joe and Ron.
"Chloe"
Chloe is the most darling little girl, as cute as a possum and her nature is superb. She is a gentle little girl, around 11 inches tall, with a rough coat that does not shed. She has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and heartworm tested. She is an adorable little bundle and anyone who meets her will instantly fall under her spell. Chloe is a low energy girl, very mellow and quiet, so she would even suit an older couple looking for a special companion. Update : Chloe has now been adopted by Lee

"Trinity"
Trinity is a firecracker. She is a funny girl with high energy and always on her toes. She has long legs but is only a small girl, approx 12 inches. Trinity is rather shy of people, but it will not take her long to come around with the right owner. She has a smooth coat, loves exploring and hates to be left alone for long periods. If you have an active lifestyle, Trinity may be the girl for you. She will require a home with good fences and lots of space to exercise and play to burn off energy. Trinity has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and heartworm tested. Trinity is in foster care with Sue at Canungra. Please contact Lindy for more details about Trinity (07) 55000168.

Barbarella
Barbarella is four years old. She has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and heartworm tested. She is 4 years old and has a broken coat that requires minimal grooming. Barbarella is a small girl, around 11 inches. She is quiet and shy but will come out of her shell with patience and the right guidance. She is available for adoption at the RSPCA shelter in Fairfield. Please contact Lindy for more information on (07) 55000168.
Claude
Claude is an older male who has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and heartworm tested. He had surgery to repair a wound on his back, but he is well healed now and his hair is growing back. Claude is gentle male, affectionate and social, and is used to older children. He has a lightly broken coat that is easy to groom, loves his bath and will sit patiently for his nail trimming and grooming. He is not a fussy eater. Claude is a true gentleman and would make a wonderful companion for the right person. Please contact Lindy for more information on (07) 55000168 or Lindy@jacklands.com
