The breeding and raising of top quality Russell Terriers, of sound nature and healthy body, is our priority at Jacklands. We have vision of a healthy future for the Jack Russell Terrier and the Parson Russell Terrier, therefore we test our dogs for genetic diseases known to the breed and provide their certificates of health as requested. We support the ANKC ruling on DNA testing and our dogs were the first family of Jack Russell Terriers to volunteer DNA to the ANKC approved collection office.  Their DNA has assisted to establish the data base for all Australian Jack Russell Terriers.

URGENT CALLOUT !

25 purebred Jack Russell Terriers have been seized by animal welfare inspectors.  They are all in need of loving families who can permanently adopt, or temporarily foster them. Without your help many of the older dogs may be put to sleep.  They have all passed their behavioral tests, in fact some of them are so sweet and gentle they would be suitable for homes with children or elderly citizens. These dogs really do deserve a second chance! Jack Russell News !

Our puppy "Jacklands Diarmuid" has become the first ever Australian bred American Grand Champion.  Diarmuid won three Best of Breed awards at his very first weekend of showing and earned the title of American Champion. His American Grand Champion title was awarded after only 3 months in the ring.  We are extremely proud of our little man who is doing so well over in America.
